The earrings measure 12mm x 9mm including the drop gem.
Materials:
The earstuds and earnuts are made of rhodium plated brass with a 925 sterling silver post. They have a notch on the end of the post to stop the butterfly sliding off too easily. The drop gem is made from glass and rhodium plated brass.
What is rhodium? Rhodium is an extremely rare, silvery-white, corrosion-resistant metal that is safe for people with allergies as it doesn't contain nickel. It is the most valuable metal available and exists within the platinum group of metals. It occurs in the very same ore in which gold and silver exist, but in smaller quantities.
